l RESERVATION TERMS

Booking a stay on a Pitch or in a Mobile Home necessarily entails the contracting parties’ acceptance of the General Terms of Sale and is subject to acceptance by the campsite.

All bookings are named and cannot be transferred or sublet. Bookings are confirmed on receipt of the completed and signed contract, sent with a down payment of 20% of the total amount of the stay (or 100% if the reservation is made within 30 days of the scheduled arrival date) + €20 booking fees for each reservation (including for several booked accomodations), and after approval by the campsite management. A confirmation e-mail or by post will inform you about the balance to be paid (except for possible changes after receipt of your contract).

In accordance with article L.121-19 of the French Consumer Code, the campsite informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a set date or for a specific period is not subject to the provisions related to a two week delay of withdrawal.

Our campsite is designed to receive families, so reservations which fall under that category will be prioritized.

The campsite reserves the right to decline any reservation from a customer with whom it has had a prior dispute.

l PAYMENT

The balance of the stay must be paid 30 days prior to your arrival, without any reminder (payments accepted by bank card via the SecureHoliday platform, bank transfer or holiday voucher).

Requests for modifications to your stay must be done in writing and will only be accepted subject to availability. By request, you may pay for your stay in instalments, by bank transfer, with no additional charge to you. For any reservations made within 30 days of the start of your stay, the full price – booking fee, total price of your stay and any cancellation insurance – must be paid at the time of booking. In this case, payment must be made by bank card via the website or by bank transfer. The payment methods accepted on site are bank cards, cash and holiday vouchers (cheques not accepted). Failing the full payment 30 days prior to arrival, and without written notification from you (by email or post), the campsite reserves the right to consider the booking to be cancelled. The down payment will be kept by the campsite, and the remaining balance will be payable in full.

l RATES

Booking fee: €20 per booking (accomodations and camping pitches).

The stated rates are subject to change. The campsite reserves the right to modify the rates at any time. Stays are invoiced based on the current rates at the time of booking, subject to availability. We recommend you check the applicable rate by contacting the campsite directly. Special offers and promotions are not retrospective and cannot be combined. Our rates for accomodations and camping pitches are mentioned including a VAT rate of 10%, applicable from the day they have been determined. Any later modifications of this VAT rate, occurring between the moment the rates have been set and final invoicing, will lead to consequential modifications of the price including VAT, which the customer complies to accept.

l TOURIST TAX & ECO-TAX

Tourist tax for persons of +18 years: 0.60€ per night and per person.

Eco participation of 0.30€ / adult / night.

l CANCELLATION INSURANCE

You can take out cancellation insurance from Campez Couvert (www. campez-couvert.com) or the FFCC (www.ffcc.fr). That insurance must be taken out at the same time as you make your booking. It will be non-refundable if you cancel your stay. In the event of cancellation, you will need to contact the cancellation insurance company you used or your own insurer to file a claim for a refund. If you decide not to take out cancellation insurance, the down payment and paid sums will be kept by the campsite in case of cancellation and the balance
must be paid. No refunds will be made by the campsite.

l MODIFICATIONS

All requests to change your reservation will require your written confirmation and will be subject to approval and availability.

l CANCELLATIONS

In order to be processed, cancellations MUST necessarily be made in writing (by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by email). No refunds will be done for any stays shortened by
customers. No reductions will be given in case of late arrivals or early departures and the total balance must be paid to the campsite.

In case of no presentation of the client on the campsite within 24 hours from the beginning of the stay, the campsite will automatically have the pitch or the accomodation concerned.

In case the campsite cancels your stay, except for unforeseen events, the stay will be fully refunded. This type of cancellations cannot lead to any compensation.

Although Ardèche Campsite will do everything in its power to make your stay as pleasant as possible, it shall not be held responsible for the consequences of any external events or weather conditionswhich might shorten or cancel your stay.

l YOUR STAY

You can idicate us your pitch or accomodation preferences, subject to availability. However, the final pitch / accomodation will be determined by the site’s manager on the day of your arrival,
taking the campers’ wishes into account as far as possible. A specific pitch cannot be guaranteed. Only your dates and type of accommodation are guaranteed. The campsite reserves the right
to change a customer’s pitch or accomodation in order to simplify the management of the booking calendar or in the case of a force majeure event or temporary unavailability.

For any late departures (after 10 am for accomodation and 12 pm for pitches), you will be for an extra day at the nightly rate then in effect.In the event of a delayed arrival, the camper must necessarily notify the campsite.

You can check in up to 9 pm at the latest. After that time, we cannot guarantee that anyone will be at reception to greet you. Please contact the campsite (on +33 (0)4 75 64 05 80) to find out what
you need to do if you are arriving late or if you will need to wait until the following day to access your accomodation or pitch.

l HOLIDAY ACCOMODATIONS

Low and mid-season: 2 nights minimum.

High season: 7 nights minimum.

Ascension Day weekend: 4 nights minimum.

Whit Sunday weekend: 3 nights minimum.

You can check in and check out any day of the week (subject to availability). On arrival, a deposit will be made by bank card imprint as a warranty deposit for the cleaning and inventory of your accomodation. It will be destroyed after the final check-up of your accomodation and after deduction of the possible costs for missing items, damage or insufficient cleaning before departure. Possibility to reserve an end-of-stay cleaning service. (€50) up until the day before your departure.

Upon departure before 10am, once your accomodation is emptied and vacated, a final check-up will be done with a campsite employee. At least 48 hours before your departure, you will need to schedule an appointment with an employee. If you leave without appointment with one of our employees, our housekeeping team alone will be responsible for judging its state of cleanliness. It your accomodation is returned in good condition, your security deposit will be destroyed or refunded. Prior to your arrival, our team makes a complete check-up of your accomodation.

On arrival, you’ll have until the next day to inform us about any issues with your accomodation’s cleanliness, as well as any missing items, following the inventory list. After this delay, we consider the accomodation to be clean and complete. If you ask to change your accommodation type or accomodation range during the course of your stay, you will automatically be billed for housekeeping.

Sheets are not provided. By reservation, you can rent non-woven sheets for €10/bed set for a single bed and €12/bed set
for a double. If you want to change your sheets over the course of your stay, you will be billed again for the new sets.

You authorize the campsite to perform any necessary maintenance work (both indoors and outdoors), including in your absence.

Requests for new gas bottles must be made during reception’s opening hours.

l PITCHES

Low and mid-season: 1 night minimum.

High season: 7 nights minimum.

You can check in and check out any day of the week (subject to availability).

Only one caravan or campervan is allowed per pitch, save with the agreement of a campsite manager.

l VEHICLES

The price of a stay covers a single vehicle. A second vehicle (car, motorcycle, trailer or boat shorter than 6.99 metres) may be allowed, subject to available space and payment of the applicable fee for parking inside the campsite. The additional vehicle must be parked on the rented pitch or on the shared car park. For security reasons, no vehicles or equipment may extend beyond the limits of the rented pitch or be parked anywhere else.

l WATER PARK

The only swimwear allowed are aqua shorts and swim briefs for men and one-piece suits and bikinis for women. Swim shorts and fullbody outfits are not permitted. UV-blocking T-shirts for babies are allowed. Swim rings, loungers and other inflatables are prohibited (only baby swim rings are permitted). Armbands are required for children who do not know how to swim. Because the water park has no lifeguards, all children are the responsibility of their parents or legal guardians.

l VISITORS

Campers’ visitors will have access to the campsite but not the water park.

Visitors must necessarily register at reception, making a note of their arrival and departure times. If their visit lasts more than an hour, they will have to pay the entrance fee of €5 per person. We may ask them to leave their identification at reception, which they may retrieve on departure, during reception opening hours.

l CAPACITY / SAFETY

The accomodations and pitches are let for the indicated number of persons. Also a baby is considered as a whole person. If the number of persons exceeds the maximum capacity of the accomodation, the management reserves the right to refuse access to the campsite for compliance and security reasons.

Only people whose names appear on the accomodation agreement are allowed on the campsite, not to exceed the maximum capacity. The internal rules are displayed at the campsite reception. In case of serious breach of the internal rules and if an early departure is required, the total amount of the stay must be paid. In case of disputes, only the civil court is competent.

For security reasons, minors unaccompanied by their parents will not be allowed to enter the campsite. Any person entering the campsite is held to comply with the internal rules. In case of a breach, the manager or his representative may evict without notice.

Wearing the bracelet (given on arrival) on its wrist is MANDATORY permanently until the end of your stay. It provides access to entertainment, swimming pools and helps to strengthen security in the facility.

l LOST / STOLEN / DAMAGED PROPERTY

The campsite shall not be held liable in the event that any personal effects are lost, stolen or damaged, in the accomodations, on the pitches, in the car park or in the common areas. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to extend your personal cover, if needed.

The contractual renter is responsible for any disturbances or nuisances caused by the people staying with or visiting him/her. The campsite’s users are urged to avoid any noise and discussions that could disturb their neighbours. The volume on audio devices must be adjusted accordingly. In addition, everyone must abstain from any actions that could negatively affect the cleanliness, hygiene or appearance of the campsite, particularly its toilet and shower blocks

l RIGHT OF PUBLICITY

The customer expressly authorizes the campsite, and without any compensation, operate and distribute any type of media that can be used, whether digital or printed photos and / or videos that could be taken during the stay for advertising and communication needs of the campsite. Any customer wishing denied the opportunity to be photographed or filmed while he must advise the campsite in advance and in writing.

l CONSUMER DISPUTE MEDIATION

In case of a dispute, you can contact the mediation centre called Medicys: www.medicys.fr. – Please make sure you are covered for accidents or events related to your public liability.

l GOVERNING LAW

In accordance with the French Data Protection law of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, rectify or delete personal data. In order to do so, please write to Camping Ardèche Camping. l OTHER

Pursuant to Prefectural Decree 07-2017-07-28-004, open fire BBQ are prohibited. Only electric planchas and gas BBQ are allowed at the campsite.

Renting or borrowing equipment will require the payment of a deposit by bank card pre-authorization.

All photos and floor plans are non-binding. The layout, floor plan, colours, etc., may differ from one chalet to the next. No brochure or website can be guaranteed to be free from typos, lack of updates or incomplete information. If you are unsure about any points which are essential to your choice of holiday, we recommend phoning the campsite to confirm the information on the website. Please confirm the prices when making your reservation. Only the prices listed on your invoice are contractually binding.
